For more than 50 years, the Kiama Sevens tournament has been the venue for the best in the sport to test their skills and come away with some serious prizemoney. What’s more, with the event taking place just metres from Kiama’s stunning ocean, it might just be the most picturesque sporting tournament in Australia!
The profile of Rugby Sevens has grown immensely ever since its inclusion in the 2016
Summer Olympics. The Kiama tournament now represents not only an iconic day for
open teams to compete, but something of a scouting for potential gold medal winners!
Of course, Resources NSW is no stranger to a sporting field – having provided turf and
landscaping services for many of the region’s premier grounds. And with the Kiama
Sevens tournament happening in our own backyard, we have been proud to be one of
the event’s key sponsors for several years now.
The 53 rd Kiama Sevens tournament was held in late February 2025 and once again, we
were pleased to present one of the oversized cheques at the end of the day!
